Dear Friends,
It gives me great pleasure, as the President, to invite you to the NINETH MIPS Annual meeting.
This year we will go again, after 9 years, to the beautiful city of Ljubljana, Slovenia, famous for its central location, bridges, surrounding caves and historical monuments.
The meeting will be held on 26-28 September, 2024 in the state of the art Culture and Congress Centre of Ljubljana “Cankarjev Dom”.
Congratulations to our Host Chair: Professor Adolf Lukanovic and Co-Chair: Dr. Kristina Drusany whom I am sure, will organize an excellent meeting to build on the outstanding success of the Third MIPS Annual Meeting of 2015 in Ljubljana. The scientific programme includes the most recent advances in female and male pelvic floor medicine with multi-disciplinary sessions tailored to health care provider’s educational needs and training priorities as well as patient care in Mediterranean countries. This year, we will also hold a parallel Symposium of the Slovenian Urogynecological Society that would be very interesting to our Slovenian candidates. We are currently working on the final scientific programme and hope to publish the first announcement by the fourth week of February on the MIPS website.

Dear Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure and honour to invite you to the 9th Annual meeting of MIPS which will be held this year in Ljubljana. After the successful third MIPS Annual Meeting 2015 in Ljubljana we are proud to have the opportunity to gather again in our charming picturesque capital of Slovenia.
The international experts from several Mediterranean countries will give you the opportunity to share experiences and discuss clinical problems in urogynaecology.
Together we strive to improve the quality of life of our suffering patients by learning and sharing our knowledge and want to stay as close as possible to Dalai Lama thoughts: »Share your knowledge. It is a way to achieve immortality«.
The aim of the meeting is to illuminate the trends and new approaches in the field of urogynaecology. The topics of the meeting are giving a broad view of the scientific principles and practical standpoints and new developments in this field of medicine. The members of Slovene medical society will highlight the selected topics of urogynaecology in our country which will celebrate nearly half century.
We are convinced that the lectures will emphasize the importance of urogynaecology and will encourage the international dialogue between renowned experts. Finally, the meeting will feature oral poster presentations which will allow young colleagues to enrol in presentation of the field of urogynaecology from office to research. We all are working hand in hand to ensure a varied, interesting, and exciting meeting programme.
Although Ljubljana might be small, we promise you, that this meeting will be amazing. We look forward to this meeting and hope that it will be an extremely rewarding and enjoyable experience for all of us.
We guarantee that you will enjoy yourself in the pleasant atmosphere of Ljubljana historical city centre with its special charming atmosphere. Apart from scientific programme we will have the opportunity to meet each other less formally. Visit us. We are not far away; we are situated in the heart of Europe.

Fees are intended per person, in Euros, VAT free. The registration fee includes access to scientific sessions, workshops, certificate of attendance, CME related forms, digital copy of the MIPS 2024 Abstract Book, CME credits after fulfilling the required actions for accreditation
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
The Organising Secretariat won't take care of delegates' reservation but will do its best to give support and supply information. We invite delegates and industries to book rooms/allotments as soon as possible in order to ensure the reservation.
