Dear MIPS Family,

It gives me great pleasure, as the President, to invite you to the TENTH MIPS Annual meeting, MIPS 2025. This year we will go to the beautiful city of Istanbul, Turkey's economic, cultural and historic capital. The city is a global hub for tourists with its unique geographical location straddling the Bosporus Strait as the boundary between Europe and Asia and historical monuments from the Byzantine, Latin and Ottoman era. The meeting will be held on 20-22 November 2025. The conference venue will be announced very soon.

Congratulations to our Host Chair: Professor Fulya Dokmeci and Co-Chair: Dr. Esra Cetinkaya, whom I am sure, will organize an excellent meeting to build on the outstanding success of our previous meetings. The scientific programme will be granted CME credits by the EACCME, and the conference proceedings will be published in Urogynecolgy, the official journal of the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS). The topics include the most recent advances in female and male pelvic floor medicine with multi-disciplinary sessions tailored to health care provider’s educational needs and training priorities as well as patient care in Mediterranean countries. This year, we will also hold parallel workshops of the Turkish Continence Society that would be very interesting to our Turkish colleagues. We are currently working on the final scientific programme and hope to publish the first announcement by the fourth week of February on the MIPS website.

See you all in Istanbul in November 2025!

Diaa Rizk

MIPS President

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to the MIPS Annual Congress 2025, taking place from November 20th to 22nd in Istanbul. This year, the Mediterranean Incontinence & Pelvic Floor Society (MIPS) will focus on "Innovation & Current Developments in the Management of Urogenital Disorders". The congress offers an exceptional opportunity to stay updated on the latest recommendations and advancements in the field, presented by world-renowned experts.

The three-day scientific program features a variety of engaging sessions, including mini keynote lectures, case-based discussion panels, and video presentations by leading experts. Additionally, selected oral presentations will provide a platform for young researchers to share their work, fostering collaboration and innovation. The program is designed to facilitate dynamic interactions among esteemed experts and participants, with hands-on workshops aimed at enhancing strategies for managing complex cases. Topics will span the latest advancements in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of female and male pelvic floor dysfunctions and their complications, presented in a multidisciplinary framework.

We are thrilled to host the 10th MIPS Annual Meeting in Türkiye for the first time. Istanbul, a city where history meets breathtaking natural beauty, will be the perfect backdrop for this event. Known for its unique location bridging Europe and Asia, Istanbul in November offers a quieter ambiance, vibrant autumn foliage, and an excellent opportunity to observe migratory birds along the Bosphorus and in the city’s tranquil parks and gardens.

With its rich history, iconic landmarks, and stunning Bosphorus views, Istanbul promises to be a remarkable destination. We warmly invite colleagues from around the globe to join us for this unforgettable experience. The 2025 MIPS Congress will feature an interactive and multidisciplinary scientific program exploring the latest innovations in the field of pelvic floor disorders. We are also grateful to the Turkish Continence Society for their valuable contributions, including a concurrent half-day symposium on November 20th.

Thank you, and we look forward to welcoming you to Istanbul for a scientifically enriching and culturally memorable event!

Best regards

Fulya Dökmeci
